The bitter taste of poor quality far outlasts the sweet scent of a low price

I came across this quote from P.J. O’Rourke, I can’t wait to use it on my own kids …

I have a 10 year old at home, and she is always saying, “That’s not fair.” When she says that, I say, “Honey, you’re cute; that’s not fair. Your family is pretty well off; that’s not fair. You were born in America; that’s not fair. Honey, you had better pray to God that things don’t start getting fair for you.

Hayley and Daniel got engaged two months ago. They’re getting married in June.

With the wedding date 55 weeks away and after only being engaged for eight weeks, Hayley already has her dress. Not picked out. Not ordered. She has it

When I met with them on Monday, Hayley also had a totally organized planning book. And she’s already signed up the wedding and reception venues. We signed a contract for their wedding photography, which leaves her with only one other vendor to sign.

Keep in mind, this is after only eight weeks! I’ve met with brides who’ve been engaged for 55 weeks and only eight weeks left who have more to do than Hayley.
