We shot Nancy’s wedding on the 4th of July. Traffic was a nightmare, by the way. Anyhow, I noticed Nancy standing and staring out the window. I often have brides do this sort of pose, but she was doing it naturally, just looking at the ocean. She explained that her dad had passed away a few years ago and he was an avid fisherman. Looking at the sea makes her feel close to him. Having lost my dad a couple years ago, I understood exactly what she meant.
